Grand Rapids, MI – A stretch of unsettled spring weather continues across Central and Southwest Lower Michigan as a mix of rain and snow showers kicks off Tuesday, followed by sunny skies Wednesday and warming temperatures into Thursday.

According to the US National Weather Service Grand Rapids, Tuesday morning will bring wind-driven rain and snow showers with daytime highs ranging from 40°F to 48°F and overnight lows dipping to 32°F to 38°F. Residents should prepare for potentially slick roads during the early commute.

Skies are expected to clear by Wednesday, offering a break in the pattern with sunny conditions and highs between 45°F and 52°F. Overnight temperatures will fall to a chilly 28°F to 36°F, prompting caution for those with sensitive vegetation or early planting efforts.

By Thursday, clouds will return ahead of a significant warm-up, pushing daytime highs into the 61°F to 65°F range, a notable rise from earlier in the week. Overnight lows will remain in the low 30s.
