Marquette, MI – Light rain showers continue across the eastern Upper Peninsula today, but conditions will gradually improve this evening as seasonable fall temperatures return, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) in Marquette.

Highs today will range from the upper 40s to mid-50s, with skies clearing from west to east overnight. Lows will dip into the 30s and low 40s, with the coldest spots in the western interior U.P.

Forecasters expect a dry and partly sunny Monday, followed by another round of rain moving in late Monday night through midweek. Highs early in the week will reach the mid-50s to low 60s, then gradually cool into the 40s by Wednesday as another system moves across the Great Lakes.

The NWS advises residents to take advantage of the brief dry window Monday before unsettled weather returns through midweek.
