Michigan SPRING Weather ALERT: Rain and Thunderstorms Hit I-75 Corridor in Detroit Tuesday Morning with Sunny Days Ahead

Detroit, Michigan – Rain is keeping Detroit drivers on alert today, especially along I-75 and I-94, as more showers and possible thunderstorms roll through southeast Michigan.

According to the National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac, rain will taper off this afternoon, with isolated storms possible before 2 p.m. No severe weather is expected, but reduced visibility and slick roads may impact the morning and midday commute. Winds will stay calm, under 10 mph, and temperatures will reach a high of 63°F.

Drier and warmer conditions begin to settle in Wednesday night. Sunshine returns Thursday, and temperatures gradually rise into the upper 60s by Friday and mid-70s by Saturday. Wednesday’s high will be around 70°F with mostly sunny skies. North winds will shift westward, remaining light at 5 to 10 mph.

If you’re planning weekend activities, Saturday and Sunday bring spring-perfect weather—sunny skies with highs in the low- to mid-70s and overnight lows near 50°F. No precipitation is expected through Sunday night.
