Rochester Hills, MI – Four men are facing charges after a vehicle pursuit and foot chase in Rochester Hills earlier this week ended with their arrests, authorities said.

According to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded Thursday to reports of suspects allegedly attempting to break into vehicles in the 1500 block of Pembroke. The men fled in a vehicle, leading deputies on a chase that ended in a crash near Livernois and Avon roads. All four were quickly apprehended with the assistance of K9 units, drones and deputies on the ground.

Officials said Jaden Lamonte Franklin, 20, of Detroit, was charged with fleeing police in the third degree, resisting and obstructing a police officer, and possession of stolen or retained financial transaction devices. He is being held on a $5,000 cash or surety bond.

Dayvion Karee Young, 25, of Redford, was charged with resisting and obstructing a police officer. His bond was also set at $5,000 cash or surety with a 10 percent provision.

Devin Charles Frankie Renfro, 20, of Oak Park, was charged with resisting and obstructing, possession of stolen financial transaction devices, and possession of burglary tools. He remains in custody on a $25,000 cash or surety bond.

Myles Alexander Price, 20, of Detroit, was also charged with resisting and obstructing a police officer and remains jailed on a $5,000 bond.

All four suspects were arraigned Friday in the 52-1 District Court. A probable cause conference has been scheduled for Sept. 8.

The sheriff’s office said the case remains under investigation by detectives from the Auto Theft Unit and the Rochester Hills Substation.
