Grand Blanc, MI – Victims and families impacted by Sunday’s shooting at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Grand Blanc now have access to dedicated support services, according to Michigan State Police and the FBI.
According to the FBI Detroit Field Office, a Family Assistance Center (FAC) has been established at the Genesys Conference and Banquet Center, located at 805 Health Park Boulevard, Grand Blanc, MI 48439. The center is open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and will remain available through Friday, October 3.
The FBI has deployed victim services personnel from Michigan and across the country to provide support for those affected. Local, state, and federal partners are coordinating efforts to ensure victims, survivors, and their families have access to counseling, resources, and guidance in the aftermath of the attack.
The shooting occurred on Sunday, September 28, leaving multiple community members traumatized. Authorities continue investigating the incident while working to ensure ongoing support for those impacted.
