Miami, FL – South Florida remains locked in a rare cool pattern as temperatures this week stay well below seasonal averages. Residents should prepare for overnight lows in the 40s and 50s through midweek, with daytime highs struggling to reach the 70s.

According to the National Weather Service in Miami, Tuesday night will bring lows around 57 degrees in Miami, dipping to the 40s in areas like Immokalee and Clewiston. Breezy conditions with gusts up to 22 mph are expected, particularly along major roadways like I-95, potentially affecting morning commutes.

Wednesday will feature mostly sunny skies, with a high near 72 degrees. Northeast winds will persist at 14 mph, keeping the air crisp. Overnight, temperatures will fall to the mid-60s along the coast and the upper 50s inland.

Looking ahead, the cool weather continues Thursday with similar conditions before a slight warming trend returns Friday. Highs are expected to reach the mid to upper 70s by the weekend, with lows in the upper 60s.

Drivers and outdoor enthusiasts should dress in layers and stay cautious on the road during breezy conditions. Residents are encouraged to check on vulnerable populations who may be sensitive to the sudden temperature drop, especially during colder evenings.
