Mesa County, CO – Three people were arrested on multiple felony drug charges after deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office conducted two separate traffic stops in the Clifton and Grand Junction areas on November 10, 2025, according to a department release.
The first stop occurred around 3 a.m. in the 3200 block of I-70 Business Loop in Clifton, where deputies contacted David Miller, 37, and passenger Melanie Sale, 38, both of Grand Junction. During the stop, officers allegedly found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, and prescription pills that did not belong to either individual. Both were arrested and booked into the Mesa County Detention Facility on felony distribution and possession charges.
Later that evening, around 10:15 p.m., deputies stopped another vehicle in the 500 block of 29 1/2 Road in Grand Junction, where passenger Gary Harvey, 50, was allegedly found with crack cocaine, methamphetamine, counterfeit fentanyl pills, and other paraphernalia. He was also booked on multiple felony counts and outstanding warrants.
Authorities said all three suspects face felony drug distribution and possession charges, and no further information is available as the investigations continue.
