Grand Junction, CO – Multiple men from Mesa County have been sentenced following separate investigations into internet crimes against children, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force carried out two major operations between spring and December 2024. These efforts resulted in several arrests and convictions finalized in the summer and fall of 2025.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, Anthony Svaldi, 48, of Loma, was convicted of sexual exploitation of a child. He received a 90-day jail sentence, 10 years to life of intensive supervised probation, and must register as a sex offender.
River Kincaid, 26, of Grand Junction, was convicted of two counts of sexual exploitation of a child and distribution of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to 8 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections on each exploitation count, plus 4 years for the drug charge, followed by parole.
Luther Miner, 25, also of Grand Junction, was convicted of sexual exploitation of a child and tampering with physical evidence. He received 4 years of sex offender intensive supervised probation with 14 months of community corrections.
All three men are under lifetime protection orders and are required to register as sex offenders.
The Sheriff’s Office said the convictions were secured with the help of the Twenty-First Judicial District Attorney’s Office, Homeland Security Investigations, and state and local partners.
