Memphis, TN – A significant cool-down is on the horizon for Memphis and surrounding areas this weekend, bringing much-needed relief from the recent sweltering heat. Temperatures, which have lingered in the upper 80s to low 90s, are expected to dip into the mid-80s by Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service in Memphis.

The high for Saturday is forecasted to reach 85°F, with clear skies dominating the region. Sunday will maintain similar conditions, with temperatures again peaking at 85°F. Overnight lows will be comfortably cool, dropping to 65°F. This cool-down is part of a broader weather pattern shift that will bring milder air into the region.

According to the National Weather Service, this weather change is expected to persist into the early part of next week. Monday’s high is predicted to be 84°F, with slightly increasing temperatures into Tuesday, reaching 87°F. However, by midweek, the mercury is expected to rise again, potentially hitting 90°F by Wednesday, with a 35% chance of rain providing a slight reprieve.
