According to the forecast, overnight lows will fall into the low 40s by midweek, with highs staying in the 60s through Thursday. Areas near the Tennessee River Valley may see patchy frost early Wednesday and Thursday mornings, especially in sheltered or low-lying areas.
Low temperatures will run slightly below normal for late October, marking the coolest stretch so far this season. Cities like Memphis, Jackson, and Tupelo can expect lows in the mid-40s to near 50°F, while north Mississippi and west Tennessee may see slightly cooler conditions.
