Medford, Ore. – Southern Oregon is in for another stretch of summerlike weather as highs climb into the 90s through midweek, with little relief expected until early next week. Residents in the Rogue Valley can expect hot afternoons paired with mostly clear skies at night, keeping conditions dry and stable.

According to the National Weather Service in Medford, today’s high will reach near 92 degrees before slightly easing to the mid-80s Thursday and upper 80s by the weekend. Winds remain light, with only occasional northwest breezes of 5 to 10 mph in the afternoons. Overnight lows will hover in the mid- to upper 50s, offering modest cooling but not enough to fully offset the heat.

The heat will be most noticeable in Medford, Central Point, and Eagle Point, where afternoon highs are running above seasonal averages. With no rain in sight, the stretch of sunshine continues to dry out already parched ground, and outdoor workers should take precautions against heat fatigue.

Conditions stay stable through Sunday, though a slight chance of showers appears early next week as temperatures dip closer to seasonal norms. Until then, the Rogue Valley remains locked in dry, sunny weather.
