Medford, OR Weather: Dense Fog Advisory for Rogue Valley and Surrounding Areas Until 10 AM

Medford, OR – The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for the Rogue, Illinois, Applegate, Umpqua, and Coquille valleys through 10 a.m. PST Sunday.

Visibility may drop to a quarter mile or less, making travel hazardous, particularly along rural highways and low-lying areas. With temperatures near freezing, slick spots could form on bridges and elevated roadways.

Drivers are urged to use low-beam headlights, reduce speed, and keep extra distance between vehicles. The weather service also recommends delaying travel until conditions improve and advises pedestrians and cyclists to wear bright or reflective clothing.
