PARK FOREST, IL – In a galaxy not so far away, the Park Forest Police Department is channeling the force with a Star Wars-themed recruitment poster that’s out of this world. Recruits, you have until the twin suns set on October 19, 2023, at 5:00 pm to hop on this starship.

With 42 Jedi, err, officers currently safeguarding a population of 21,000, this department’s looking to enlist more guardians for their galactic village. Whether you’re an out-of-state officer with the wisdom of Yoda or a young Padawan, salaries start at a tempting $69,740.

The Village’s Board of Fire and Police Commissioners is in hyperdrive mode, launching both Lateral and Entry Level Police Officer Recruitments. Survive the trials, and you’ll land on the prestigious eligibility list for the Park Forest Police Department.

Potential recruits must fulfill a prophecy: be a high school graduate, U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and aged between 21 to 34 by the application deadline. Plus, having the skills (or valid P.O.W.E.R. card) to wield a weapon is a must. Applications are accepted only from those strong with the online force.

Eager to join the ranks? Navigate to the stars here and send your hologram application here. And always remember, the force will be with you, always!
