Boston, MA – A warming trend is on the way for Massachusetts this weekend as an arctic front moves out, bringing milder temperatures and drier conditions. After a cold and blustery Thursday night, temperatures will steadily rise, with highs reaching the upper 30s by Sunday.

According to the National Weather Service, Friday will start cold, with lows around 20°F and highs reaching 32°F under mostly sunny skies. Northwest winds will remain strong at 14 mph, with gusts up to 24 mph, making it feel even colder.

By Saturday, the warming trend becomes more noticeable, with sunny skies and a high of 34°F. Winds will calm slightly, shifting to the west at 6-8 mph. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy, with a low of 23°F.

Sunday continues the improvement, with partly sunny skies and a high of 38°F, followed by a mild start to next week. Monday and Tuesday will bring highs in the low to mid-40s, with a slight chance of rain Tuesday.

Residents should prepare for fluctuating conditions but can look forward to a break from the recent bitter cold.
