Boston, MA – Residents across Massachusetts can expect mostly dry conditions today, particularly in the eastern regions of the state. However, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Boston warns that shower chances will increase by mid-afternoon for areas west of Worcester. Temperatures are anticipated to be muggy, with highs ranging from the mid to upper 70s.

According to the NWS, much of the state’s western half, including areas such as Pittsfield and Greenfield, may see showers later in the day. Eastern Massachusetts, including Boston and the Cape, will remain mostly dry, though cloud cover and humidity will persist throughout the day.

Temperatures are expected to hover around 77°F in Boston, while areas in central Massachusetts, like Worcester and Springfield, could see temperatures reach up to 80°F. Residents are advised to be prepared for potential rain in the afternoon and to stay hydrated in the muggy conditions.
