Boston, MA – Gusty winds and bitter cold will continue across the Boston area Tuesday as a Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 p.m. The National Weather Service warns of winds up to 50 mph, which could knock down tree limbs and cause power outages.

According to the National Weather Service, winds from the west at 15-25 mph, gusting to 50 mph, will make travel hazardous, particularly for high-profile vehicles. Temperatures will stay frigid, with wind chills dropping as low as -5°F overnight.

Looking Ahead: Cold Midweek, Warmer Weekend

Wednesday: Sunny but cold, with highs near 28°F and wind chills making it feel even colder.

Thursday: A chance of light snow, mainly in the afternoon and evening, with highs near 29°F.

Friday: Mostly sunny and slightly warmer, reaching 33°F.

Weekend: A warming trend, with Saturday reaching 35°F and Sunday near 39°F.

Boston residents should prepare for continued cold and windy conditions through midweek, but relief is on the way with a weekend warm-up.
