Boston, Massachusetts – A mostly dry but chilly Monday is expected across southern New England, with highs reaching the mid to upper 30s and light easterly winds.

According to the National Weather Service in Boston, early morning flurries are possible across coastal Rhode Island and southern coastal Massachusetts before skies turn mostly cloudy with occasional breaks of sunshine.

Easterly winds will range from 5 to 10 mph, with gusts up to 15 mph along the coast, making it feel slightly cooler near the shoreline in communities such as Plymouth, Hyannis, and Providence.

Afternoon temperatures will top out between 35 and 39 degrees across much of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and northern Connecticut.

While no significant precipitation is expected, residents along the immediate coast should remain aware of brief flurries early in the day before dry conditions settle in for the afternoon.
