Drivers are urged to exercise caution, particularly on elevated roadways such as the I-93 bridge near Boston and Route 128 around Gloucester, where high-profile vehicles could be more susceptible to sudden gusts. Winds are expected to intensify Wednesday, with southwest gusts reaching 50 mph before calming slightly on Thursday. Afterward, temperatures will dip slightly, returning to the 50s by the weekend, bringing milder winds.
