Massachusetts – The upcoming weather forecast for Massachusetts includes a mix of dry conditions and potential thunderstorms, according to the US National Weather Service in Boston. While Thursday and Friday might see brief showers or pop-up thunderstorms, overall, drier conditions are anticipated for these days.

The weekend, however, is expected to bring more unsettled weather. Neither Saturday nor Sunday is predicted to be a complete washout, but the greatest chances for rain are projected for late Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. This unsettled pattern suggests residents should prepare for sporadic showers and possibly adjust outdoor plans accordingly.

According to the latest probability of precipitation forecast, Boston and surrounding areas like Brockton, Gloucester, and Hyannis have varying chances of rain throughout the weekend. For instance, on Saturday, the probability of precipitation peaks at 35% in the afternoon and 45% in the evening. On Sunday, these numbers increase, with the highest likelihood of rain occurring in the afternoon at 55%.

The forecast for the start of next week indicates a continuation of this pattern, with chances of rain at 25% to 40% across different regions, including Springfield and Worcester. Monday sees a 40% chance of precipitation, primarily in the morning and afternoon.
