Baltimore, MD – Gusty winds and colder-than-normal temperatures will impact Maryland today, with conditions gradually shifting into the weekend. Drivers and pedestrians should prepare for winds up to 30 mph, potentially making travel along I-95 and local roads challenging.

According to the National Weather Service, today’s highs will range from 37 to 43 degrees, with brisk westerly winds making it feel even colder. Temperatures tonight will drop to the upper 20s, creating the potential for frost across the region. Residents are encouraged to secure outdoor items to avoid wind damage.

Friday will bring calm, sunny conditions, with highs near 40 degrees and lighter winds from the northwest. Overnight lows will again dip into the upper 20s, so bundle up if you’re heading out early Saturday.

Saturday offers a bright start to the weekend with sunny skies and a high of 40, but clouds will increase late Saturday night. By Sunday afternoon, rain chances rise to 30%, increasing to 70% overnight into Monday. Temperatures on Sunday will reach 48 degrees before dipping to the low 40s overnight.

Looking ahead to early next week, Monday’s highs will hit the mid-50s, but rain is likely throughout the day, particularly in the morning. The National Weather Service recommends monitoring local forecasts for updates, as rainfall could impact commutes.

For those planning outdoor activities this weekend, Friday and Saturday are your best bets for dry weather. Keep an eye on changing conditions and dress warmly to stay comfortable.
