Baltimore, MD – Snow is set to return to Maryland this week, bringing hazardous travel conditions across Baltimore and surrounding areas. A strong weather system is expected to bring snowfall on Tuesday, with a 90% chance of accumulation by Tuesday night.

According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday will begin with cloudy skies and temperatures peaking at 37°F. Snow is expected to develop by the evening, continuing overnight with a low of 31°F. Travel on major roads, including I-95 and I-695, could be impacted, especially during the evening commute.

Wednesday will bring continued snowfall with a 60% chance of accumulation, followed by rain and snow mixing after 1 a.m. Temperatures will rise slightly, reaching a high of 39°F before dipping to 36°F overnight.

By Thursday, the precipitation will shift to rain, with a 70% chance of showers persisting through the afternoon. Highs will reach the low 50s before drying out on Friday.
