Baltimore, Md. – A stretch of wet weather is expected to settle over Baltimore and much of central Maryland beginning Saturday, with on-and-off rain chances continuing into Tuesday.

According to the National Weather Service, showers will develop Saturday afternoon and become more widespread Saturday night, with a 60% chance of rain. Sunday will bring additional scattered showers, particularly in the morning, as northeast winds keep conditions damp and cooler.

Travelers along I-95 and I-83 may encounter reduced visibility and slick roads at times, especially overnight. Outdoor weekend plans could be disrupted, with the highest likelihood of rain falling Saturday night into Sunday morning. Monday and Tuesday remain unsettled, with clouds and occasional showers persisting before conditions begin to clear midweek.

Residents are advised to keep umbrellas handy, monitor for changing road conditions, and allow extra time for commutes, especially during the Monday morning rush.

Rain chances taper off after Tuesday, with partly sunny skies and highs in the low 70s returning by Wednesday.
