Baltimore, MD – Springlike warmth continues across Maryland this weekend, with temperatures soaring into the low 80s in parts of the state, especially around Baltimore. Gusty winds and a chance of isolated showers near the Blue Ridge Mountains are expected to accompany the unseasonably warm conditions.

According to the US National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington, highs on Sunday, March 30, are forecast between 65°F and 81°F, with sustained southwest winds at 5 to 10 mph and gusts reaching up to 25 mph. Areas west of the Blue Ridge may experience occasional pop-up showers throughout the day. Overnight lows are expected to range from 56°F to 65°F.

By Monday, March 31, temperatures will remain elevated with highs between 63°F and 79°F. However, cooler air begins to filter in late Monday into Tuesday, with lows dropping into the 40s. Tuesday, April 1, will bring a noticeable shift, with highs ranging from 45°F to 67°F and overnight lows dipping into the 30s.

Residents are advised to stay alert for sudden weather shifts and gusty winds, particularly while traveling or engaging in outdoor activities. Light jackets are recommended for evening hours as temperatures fall, especially in western counties and elevated areas.
