Columbia, MD – A woman wanted on multiple warrants was arrested Friday in Columbia after allegedly removing her court-ordered monitor and fleeing the Western Maryland area.

According to the Howard County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were contacted on Friday, August 29, by the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office for help locating Angela Dennison, who was wanted on two Failure to Comply warrants. Authorities said Dennison allegedly cut off her monitoring device before leaving the area.

Detectives from Howard County located Dennison at a residence in Columbia, where she was taken into custody without incident. Officials confirmed she is being held at the Howard County Detention Center without bond.

The sheriff’s office said it continues to coordinate with local, state and federal partners to track and apprehend individuals with outstanding warrants.
