Freezing rain will begin early Saturday and could last into Sunday afternoon. The wintry mix will increase the risk of outages and road hazards throughout the region. Winds gusting up to 25 mph will intensify the risk of fallen limbs and icy roadways. Emergency officials recommend keeping extra food, water, and a flashlight in your vehicle.
