The main threat window for severe storms runs Friday night, when stronger cells could produce hail up to an inch in diameter, wind gusts above 60 mph, and localized flooding from heavy rainfall.
Travelers should be prepared for rapidly changing conditions, especially on U.S. 41 and M-28. Outdoor events Friday evening may need last-minute changes, and residents are urged to secure loose items that could be blown around in strong winds.
