Marion County, OR – Deputies in Marion County arrested a 29-year-old man Saturday afternoon following a trespassing report that led to multiple drug and weapons charges.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the incident began around 12:30 p.m. on November 8, 2025, when deputies responded to the 9000 block of Sunnyview Road NE after reports of a trespasser. Earlier that day, Silverton Police had reported a vehicle driving recklessly in the area. Deputies soon located a matching Chrysler 300 on Hazelnut Lane NE, about a mile from the original call.

Authorities say Gage Stursa, 29, was found walking through private property. A search of the area and his belongings allegedly uncovered 15.31 grams of methamphetamine, a prescription bottle of liquid methadone, pistol ammunition, and drug paraphernalia.

Stursa was arrested and booked into the Marion County Jail. He faces charges of criminal trespass, delivery of methamphetamines, possession of methadone, possession of burglary tools, and felon in possession of a restricted weapon, according to deputies.

The Sheriff’s Office credited teamwork with Silverton Police for the quick arrest.
