Maricopa County Missing Person: Woman Vanishes After Saying She Was Leaving for Short Trip

Phoenix, Arizona – A 24-year-old woman has been missing for over a month, prompting the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office to ask for urgent public assistance as the search continues across parts of the Phoenix metro.

According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Jadalynn Abarca was last heard from on March 3 after telling others she planned to leave for a short trip. Investigators say she has not made contact since, raising concern for her safety.

Authorities describe Abarca as a white female, standing 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing about 120 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a tan jacket and jeans. Deputies say she is known to frequent areas near 83rd Avenue and Union Hills Drive, as well as parts of Tempe.

Officials noted Abarca had been dealing with postpartum depression prior to her disappearance, adding urgency to efforts to locate her safely.
