Manteno, IL – Manteno schools are gearing up for the new academic year with a series of back-to-school open houses. Manteno Middle School will kick off the events on Monday, August 19, with sessions tailored for different grade levels. Fifth and sixth graders are invited from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., followed by the seventh and eighth graders from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
According to the district’s official announcement, the open houses provide an opportunity for students and parents to meet teachers, explore the school, and receive important information ahead of the new school year. The event continues on Tuesday, August 20, with Manteno Elementary School opening its doors from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Manteno High School hosting its session from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
