Manhattan Man Reported Missing: Police Seeking Help in Locating missing Man

MANHATTAN, Ill. – Manhattan police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating 47-year-old Anthony Fehrenbacher, who was reported missing on June 1st. Fehrenbacher, known to his friends as Tony, was last seen on May 26th at around 7 p.m. when he left his home for a walk in the neighborhood.

Described as a white male with gray hair, brown eyes, standing at 5’10” and weighing approximately 175 pounds.

A well-being check conducted at his residence did not reveal any signs of foul play. However, authorities are now examining Fehrenbacher’s cell phone and banking records as part of their investigation.

To aid in the search efforts, Manhattan Police is collaborating with the Will County Sheriff’s office and Will County EMA to conduct aerial drone searches of the area. The Wauponsee Trail and the northern part of Midewin were scoured over the weekend, but yielded no leads.
