Peotone, IL – Fire Station 83 in Peotone will host an open house and tailgate party on Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m., ahead of Peotone High School’s football game. The event will be held at 7550 W. Joliet Road.
According to the Manhattan Fire Protection District, attendees can enjoy free hot dogs, popcorn, and treats while touring the newly renovated fire station. The open house will also feature activities like pumpkin decorating, a kid-friendly firefighter obstacle course, and a mini “trunk or treat” event.
Families and friends are invited to mark their calendars and join the fun. Organizers encourage community members to come out and celebrate with the Blue Devils before heading to the game.
The tailgate provides an opportunity for locals to engage with firefighters, explore the station’s updated facilities, and enjoy fall-themed activities for both adults and children.
