New Hampshire – A biting 20s start is locking in across Manchester this morning, and that cold is enough to create slick patches on untreated roads, especially bridges and shaded areas. The air feels sharp and dry, but change is moving in quickly.

According to the National Weather Service, sunshine dominates through midday with highs reaching 48°F. Southwest winds increase to 20 mph, helping shift the pattern toward a much warmer stretch across southern New Hampshire.

Across the region, that cold high pressure system is sliding offshore, allowing milder air to surge north. Clouds increase later, with temperatures holding near 32°F into the night. By Monday, conditions turn noticeably milder, with highs climbing to 61°F under partly sunny skies.

The next shift arrives by Tuesday. Rain develops during the day, with a 40% chance and highs near 65°F. Roads along I-93 and Route 3 may turn wet during the afternoon commute. Plan extra time and keep headlights on during reduced visibility.

By Wednesday, temperatures surge to near 70°F, but scattered rain continues with another 40% chance. Conditions become more unsettled by evening, with rain likely and temperatures falling sharply toward 32°F. A rain-to-snow mix is possible late, especially in higher elevations and north of the city.

Keep layers ready for cold mornings and shifting afternoons. Conditions may change quickly late week as colder air tries to return.
