PEORIA, IL — A somber Monday evening in Peoria took a turn for the worse when a man was found with gunshot wounds following a Shot Spotter alert in the 2400 block of N. Sheridan around 8:21 p.m.
Despite rapid transport to a local hospital, the victim was declared deceased shortly after arrival. As the Peoria Police Department, including their Criminal Investigations Division and Crime Scene Unit, delves into the case, they’re urging the public to come forward with any pertinent information.
