Unity, ME – A Unity man was arrested Thursday after allegedly threatening another individual with a firearm at Unity Raceway. The Maine State Police received a call at approximately 4:12 p.m. from the victim, who reported that 30-year-old Joshua Littlefield had approached him with a gun and made threats. The victim provided descriptions of both the suspect and the firearm.
According to the Maine State Police, Troopers, along with the Tactical Team and Crisis Negotiation Team, responded to Littlefield’s residence, where he was taken into custody. Littlefield was charged with Criminal Threatening with a Dangerous Weapon. He was taken to a local hospital for evaluation before being transported to the Waldo County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.
