Man Arrested After Double Stabbing at Carmel, Indiana Business on May 23rd

Carmel, IN – A man was arrested Friday night after allegedly stabbing two individuals during a disturbance at a Carmel business, according to police.

Carmel Police said officers responded around 10:44 p.m. to the 12700 block of Meeting House Road after multiple callers reported a male suspect had stabbed another man and remained on scene. Officers arrived quickly, detained the suspect, and began administering aid.

Investigators said two men were injured in the altercation. One sustained a stab wound to the back and was transported to a local hospital. The second suffered a stab wound to the lower leg and later sought medical treatment on his own.

The suspect was taken to the Carmel Police Department for questioning and later booked into the Hamilton County Jail. He faces charges of battery by means of a deadly weapon, battery, and disorderly conduct.

Authorities have not released the names of those involved or details on what led to the incident. The conditions of the victims were not immediately available.
