Addison, IL – A major accident involving a dump truck and another vehicle occurred at the intersection of Rohwling Road and Winthrop Avenue on Friday afternoon.

The crash, reported at 2:25 p.m., resulted in the dump truck rolling over, trapping its driver inside. Both drivers involved sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the Addison Police Department, emergency personnel from the Addison Fire Protection District were called to the scene. They worked diligently to extricate the dump truck driver from the wreckage. The road remains closed due to ongoing cleanup and investigation.
