Caribou, ME – Sunday, June 29, 2025 – A cloudy start to the day will give way to breaks of sunshine later this afternoon, with highs ranging from the upper 60s to mid-70s across Maine’s interior. While northern areas may see some early showers, expect the sun to return for much of the state as the day progresses.
According to the National Weather Service in Caribou, Monday will bring warmer and sunnier conditions, with temperatures reaching the low to mid-80s inland. Highs will vary, ranging from the low 70s in the Downeast region to the low 80s further inland.
The NWS also warns that Wednesday will bring mostly sunny skies across the south and partly cloudy conditions to the north. Temperatures will again be in the low to mid-80s, with a slight chance for a shower or storm in the northern areas.
As the week continues, another cold front will approach on Thursday, bringing more showers and thunderstorms primarily to the northern parts of the state. Highs will range from the upper 70s to low 80s in most regions.
For today, be sure to enjoy the sunshine when it breaks through and keep an eye on the weather as the week progresses, especially Tuesday through Thursday. More updates will follow as new advisories or warnings are issued.
