Moscow, ME – Maine State Police are renewing attention to an unsolved homicide case from 2003 involving a Somerset County man whose death remains under investigation.
According to Maine State Police, Alford “Buddy” Blake was discovered dead in the driveway of his home on Wolf Mountain in Moscow on September 15, 2003. A home health nurse found Blake, who investigators determined was the victim of a homicide.
Authorities said Blake’s residence had been ransacked at the time of his death. He was also known to have kept a large amount of prescription medication in his home, which police believe may have been a factor in the crime.
Despite ongoing investigation, no arrests have been made in the case. Police continue to urge anyone with information about Blake’s death to come forward.
