According to Maine State Police, troopers from the Central Field Troop and Troop K responded at 7:03 a.m. to a single-occupant motorcycle accident near the intersection of South Mountain Valley Highway and Hogback Mount Road in Montville.
First responders found the operator unconscious at the scene. Authorities said the man, whose identity has not been released, was flown by Life Flight to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor for treatment. His condition remains critical.
