Madison County, TN – A wanted suspect was taken into custody this week after fleeing deputies during a traffic stop involving a stolen trailer in Madison County.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded Tuesday evening to a Ridgecrest Road business after a stolen trailer was tracked to the area. The trailer, which was being pulled by a black Ford F-350, was located at the Hucks Gas Station. Authorities said the driver, identified as 32-year-old Dillon James Decker of White Bluff, fled the scene after striking a sheriff’s patrol unit.

Deputies said the vehicle was later found on Weatherford Square, where Decker allegedly abandoned it before running on foot. With the help of the Jackson Police Department, a perimeter was established, and Decker was eventually arrested in the area of Laurie Circle. Investigators confirmed the truck had also been reported stolen out of Davidson County, and suspected drugs were recovered both in the vehicle and on Decker.

Decker faces multiple charges, including possession of methamphetamine, aggravated assault on law enforcement, theft, possession of drug paraphernalia, and reckless driving. He is being held at the Madison County Criminal Justice Complex on a $100,000 bond. Authorities added that Decker is also wanted in Cheatham, Lowndes County, Georgia, and Nashville on separate charges, including firearm possession by a convicted felon and additional theft offenses.

Two passengers were also arrested during the incident. Deputies identified them as 32-year-old Emma Lawson Blackwelder of Jackson and 25-year-old Aja Sinclair Murray of Nashville. Both face theft and drug-related charges and are being held on $5,000 bonds at the Madison County facility.

Sheriff’s officials said the case remains active and under investigation.
