La Place, IL – A serious crash has closed a major intersection in Macon County today, impacting drivers traveling through central Illinois.
According to Illinois State Police Troop 7, troopers are on scene at the intersection of U.S. Highway 36 and Illinois Route 32, just south of La Place, following a crash that occurred Tuesday morning. Authorities said the roadway will remain shut down for the next three to four hours while crews conduct cleanup operations.
