Macomb Township Crash Leaves Two Hospitalized, One Critically Injured

Macomb Township, MI – A 19-year-old Auburn Hills man was critically injured in a head-on collision in Macomb Township on Thursday. The accident occurred at 5:36 p.m. near 23 Mile Road and Indian Pointe Drive.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, the driver of a Ford Fusion crossed the center line and collided with a Buick SUV. A third vehicle was also involved but did not result in additional injuries.

The Fusion’s driver was rushed to a local hospital in critical condition. The Buick’s driver, a 62-year-old Oxford woman, and her passenger were hospitalized in stable condition. The driver of the third vehicle escaped unharmed.

Alcohol is not believed to have contributed to the crash, but the investigation remains ongoing.
