Macomb County, MI – The Macomb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of redirecting a valuable electronics shipment in Harrison Township.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies were notified on Nov. 6, 2025, of a larceny involving a shipment of phones and tablets worth more than $1,500. The victim told investigators the package had been rerouted to another business address without authorization. When the victim arrived to retrieve it, staff informed him it had already been picked up.

Authorities said the suspect, described as a man in his 30s with facial hair and glasses, allegedly identified himself using the name Anthony Guering, which investigators believe to be false. He was last seen wearing a red stocking cap and brown overcoat.

The sheriff’s office released surveillance footage showing the man inside a local business counter area. Detectives are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Stone at 586-307-9379 or by email.

“All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law,” the department noted in its release.
