Macomb County, MI – A late-night stolen vehicle investigation led to multiple arrests after a coordinated law enforcement pursuit along Interstate 94 in Harrison Township, authorities confirmed.

According to the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were alerted at approximately 11:21 p.m. Monday night to an allegedly stolen vehicle being tracked by Michigan State Police as it traveled eastbound on I-94 near 12 Mile Road. Deputies responded to the area near eastbound I-94 and North River Road and attempted a traffic stop using lights and sirens.

Authorities say the suspect vehicle failed to stop and continued fleeing, prompting deputies to implement strategic vehicle positioning and deploy tire deflation devices. The maneuver successfully disabled the vehicle near Joy Boulevard on westbound I-94. The driver ultimately pulled over onto the left shoulder near North River Road.

All occupants of the vehicle were taken into custody without incident, officials said. The driver, identified as a 22-year-old man from Warren, was arrested and transported to the Macomb County Jail. Charges are being sought by the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office.

Michigan State Police assumed custody of the remaining three occupants, who are facing related charges. Authorities did not immediately release the identities of the additional suspects.

The incident caused brief traffic disruptions along portions of I-94 as officers secured the scene and completed the arrest. No injuries were reported.

Officials noted that the investigation remains ongoing and may involve multiple jurisdictions. Additional details, including formal charges, are expected to be released once the investigation progresses.
