Lubbock, TX – The National Weather Service in Lubbock reports that morning clouds and fog will gradually give way to clearing skies later today. A few isolated showers and thunderstorms may develop in the afternoon, particularly before sunset.
Temperatures are expected to reach highs between 68°F and 73°F, with light north winds at 5–10 mph. Any rain or storms that form will be short-lived and spotty, ending by this evening.
Tonight, skies will turn mostly clear with light and variable winds and lows dipping to 43–50°F.
The NWS says Sunday will bring pleasant fall weather, with sunny skies and mild conditions continuing into the start of next week.
