LUBBOCK, Texas – A stretch of classic West Texas fall weather will hold steady through the week, with clear skies and daytime highs climbing into the low to mid-80s. Overnight lows will dip into the low 60s, offering mild, comfortable evenings across Lubbock County and the surrounding South Plains.

According to the National Weather Service in Lubbock, southerly winds around 10 mph will persist through midweek, keeping conditions dry and skies mostly sunny. No rainfall or major temperature swings are expected through Thursday, allowing for ideal conditions for outdoor work, harvest activity, and local events.

Tuesday may bring slightly cooler air with a high near 79°F before temperatures rebound into the mid-80s by Thursday. The calm pattern continues into the weekend, with highs nearing 90°F again by Friday and Saturday as light southeast winds return.
