Drivers along U.S. 84, U.S. 62, and I-27 should watch for brief slick spots Sunday evening. However, no widespread severe weather is expected, and travel conditions will quickly improve by Monday morning.
NOAA’s extended precipitation outlook continues to show below-normal rainfall probabilities for West Texas, suggesting this short-lived storm chance could be the last for several days. Dry conditions may raise wildfire concerns in rural areas as afternoon temperatures climb.
