Lowell, Indiana: Fire Department Calls for Bowlers to Support Scholarship Fund at ‘Battle of the Badges’ Event

Lowell, IN – Community members are lacing up their bowling shoes for a good cause at the “2024 Battle of the Badges,” a charity event hosted by Keener Township Volunteer Fire Department.

According to the event flyer, the annual bowling fundraiser is scheduled for Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Country Lanes on Lucas Parkway in Lowell, Indiana. The competition will start at 2 PM, with registration opening an hour before the event. Teams are encouraged to sign up before the April 20 deadline, aiming for a robust participation of 28 teams. Entry fees are set at $30.00 per person, which includes three games, shoes, a 9-pin format, and a pizza per team, along with an event T-shirt. Attendees can also look forward to trophies, door prizes, and a 50/50 raffle.
