Louisville, KY – The National Weather Service in Louisville reports ideal fall weather for Kentucky this weekend, with dry and comfortable conditions expected to continue through Columbus Day and much of next week.
Forecasters say temperatures will remain near seasonal norms, with highs in the mid to upper 70s and lows in the upper 40s to low 50s under mostly sunny skies. Light winds and clear evenings will make for pleasant outdoor conditions across Louisville, Lexington, Bowling Green, and Frankfort.
The extended forecast calls for continued dry weather through most of next week. A weak midweek front may briefly cool temperatures into the low 70s by Wednesday and Thursday, but no rain is expected with the system.
Overall, the region will enjoy stable, quiet weather through at least next Friday — a welcome stretch for early fall activities and travelers returning from the holiday weekend.
