Friday will feature partly sunny skies and cool highs in the mid to upper 30s, offering a brief break from the recent stretch of cloudy and cold days. On Saturday, conditions remain mostly dry, though a few isolated flurries or sprinkles may develop across southern Indiana and north-central Kentucky.
The best chance for light rain will arrive Sunday, as a weak system moves through the Ohio Valley. Temperatures will warm slightly, with highs ranging from 40°F to 47°F, and lows near freezing each night.
Forecasters say next week should begin with a milder pattern and periods of sunshine returning Monday and Tuesday.
